Every year, the Modern Work Award honours companies that are making the workplace a better place through outstanding initiatives and methods of collaboration. We couldn’t be prouder to have achieved second place in the ‘Modern Work Performer’ category!

The ‘Modern Work Performer’ category is for companies where modern work initiatives are already an integral part of collaboration.

We were able to score points with the following concepts that have been established in our firm:

  • Roles: Employees can take on certain roles, depending on their skills and personal interests, for which they then take on tasks. This way, skills are developed, more diverse work experiences are gained, and topics that are important to employees can be worked on. The range is wide – from emotional caretakers to sports ministers to data protection officers, there is something for everyone!
  • Circles: We prefer working in teams (‘circles’) to working in established hierarchical structures. Communication at eye level, personal responsibility and flat hierarchies promote trust.
  • Knowledge management: Mutual professional support in the form of internal lectures, newsletters and ‘bundling’ of relevant documents; we enjoy ongoing professional exchange and consider it a matter of course.
  • Further training: The personal and academic development of our employees is very important to us and is often a decisive factor for our clients as well.

Why? The motivation and willingness of our employees to participate in the work and the firm’s processes increases immensely as a result, giving them a sense of self-determination and appreciation. The fact that employees are constantly coming up with new ideas confirms the positive effect. This is entirely in line with our vision: to challenge and develop talent.
