The topic of the evening: <strong class=\"\">\u201cWhat will get the European and Austrian economies back on track?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a incisive analysis, Martin Kocher discussed, among other things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Why the economy in Austria and the EU is currently stagnating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The impact of Trump\u2019s tariff policy on Europe\u2014and what strategic responses the EU could develop<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The difficulty of genuine deregulation in the face of political realities\u2014a point that resonated strongly with many guests from the business community<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Austerity measures and their effect on growth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Education as a key driver of economic resilience and competitiveness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A quote from Jean-Claude Juncker summed up the political challenge: <em class=\"\">\u201cWe all know what reforms are necessary. But we don\u2019t know how to implement them and then win an election.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong class=\"\">Our key takeaway:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em class=\"\">Despite current challenges, there are many reasons for optimism: Europe and Austria have strong economic foundations, innovative capacity, and stable structures.
